Overview

In this first book of a captivating new series by bestselling author Susane Colasanti, three girls share a Manhattan apartment the summer before college begins. City Love captures the essence of summer love, self-discovery, and sisterhood, a perfect fit for fans of Sarah Dessen, Jenny Han, and Jennifer E. Smith.

This summer will change everything for Sadie, Darcy, and Rosanna. Sadie is all about dreaming big and following her heart, hoping her soul mate is right around the corner. Darcy wants a summer of boy adventures with New York City as her playground. Rosanna is running from dark secrets of her past, desperate to reinvent herself. With no parents, no rules, and an entire city to explore, these three girls are on the verge of the best summer of their lives.

Told from alternating points of view, City Love resonates with the moments when everything is thrilling, amazing, and terrifying all at once . . . in a way it will never be again.

Setting
The whole story is being held in New York, but two characters are from different places with different backgrounds. and its more modern day, they are all in college.
Characters
Sadie is the native new yorker looking to find something serious in terms of being in a relationship.
Darcy is the laid back roomate with no rules, from California.
Rosanna is the more uptight and starts to go out with someone that is the complete opposite.
Good Points
The writing was more of just them talking, as if the characters were writing in a journal.
Bad Points
In the middle of the book things start to fall through with the writing and its hard to keep up with all three characters.
Plot Summary
Three girls that are in college are all room mates and they all have different backgrounds and lives. They all have a sort of romance happening. All the of the relationships had some characteristics but they were all really rushed There is some conflict in the group, and they have several different things that make it hard for them to live together because they have such different personalities.
Ending
The ending was okay, not much as satisfying, but nothing really happened in the ending as much as through out the whole book, there are some small pieces where it gets interesting but the ending was just about the same.
