Setting
the setting of this book is in a small town where Maddie lived with her mom. it seemed like it was just a sad place to be because of the things she knew.
Characters
Maddie- which is the main character could see dates and those dates or from when people were going to die.
stubby- is Maddie's bestfriend and would do anything for her, loyal bestfriend.
mom- she is Maddie's mom and is an alcoholic and she cant stop from doing all that bad things

Good Points
One of the good points is when Maddie's mom sobers up and gets a job. I liked the book because its very interesting and makes me wonder who is the murderer. This book is showing that life is hard and not always easy.
Bad Points
What I didn't like about the book was that Maddie has to go through a lot of things with her mom because of the way she is. its upsetting seeing her go through that at a young age.
Plot Summary
this book was pretty good, its just about a teenage girl that is like a normal person. the thing is that she can see peoples death day and that obviously is not normal. when she tells people the day they will die and it ends up happening then they think its her the one that kills them, but is it really her?? you'll have to read it and find out how good of a book it is
Ending
the ending is pretty much how you basically think it will end if you really paid attention to the store and how it goes. it might have some twist and turns in it but I don't think its too much for you not to know.

Setting
In the book When, the setting was a small town where not to many exciting things happened. Her mom did many drugs so when I think of her house I see it being very well kept on the outside but on the inside it is quite messy. The weather outside where she lives it is always raining.
Characters
Stubbs: He is Maddie's best friend and is always there for her. One of his conflicts is that he is to nice and love a woman almost too much.
Maddie: MAddie is the main character of the book. She has an ability to see people's death dates, this is pretty her biggest conflicts. She is also accused of murder
Good Points
One of the best points was when Stubbs and Maddie were walking home and they realized they were being followed.
Bad Points
Whenever she is with her mom it makes me feel so bad that she has to deal with that sort of problem.
Plot Summary
Through out the plot many things change. The characters end up with crazy twisting personality's and she did very good on building the plot to a good climax.
Ending
It was a very good plot twist and I wasn't expecting it to be him.

It was okay, not great but not terrible either

User Review

Setting
Stereotypical, small town where everyone knows almost everyone. Rich neighbor town, and hours away from the city.
Characters
Maddie, her mom, her uncle Donny, her best friend Stubs (his nickname was given to him by a bully in grade school and it stuck.), and and agents and his son Aiden. Her mom was an alcoholic, her dad's dead, her uncle takes care of them when their in trouble, her best friend is dorky and in love with "girls out of his league", and the agent is investigating the murder case Maddie and Stubs are both linked to.
Good Points
The personalities of the characters were pretty good, the author did their best to make every person their own. As stereotypical as it was, the characters weren't bad. The plot was at least consistent.
Bad Points
The story was predictable and over used. Teenage girl has powers and everyone finds out and bullies her and calls her a witch (or similar names). Problems at home, attractive boy gets with the protagonist in the end and happy ending for all. Been there, done that.
Plot Summary
A woman comes to see Maddie about her cancerous child and when she learns it's not her that's going to die and it's one of her other kids, she freaks out. The FBI comes to question her after the kid gets murdered and she goes through a long and painful process of finding the real killer
Ending
It fit the story but it wasn't really satisfying because it was predictable and I called it 12 or so chapters in. The answer was too obvious to be any one of the other characters. The author tried to trick the reader into thinking the antagonist was either character A or B but we all know the real one was character C. She attempted (not so successfully) to convince us that there were only so many choices. The real one never being one of them.

Setting
Maddie's Home, Maddie's school, the police station.
Characters
Maddie - A junior in high school that has the ability to see peoples death dates on their foreheads

Stubbs - Maddie's best friend

Mrs. Flynn - Maddie's mother
Good Points
I like Maddie's uncle Donny. He is one person that Maddie really counts on and he was always more of a parent to her than her mom was. I also like the mystery. I guessed everyone else to be the killer and didn't truly know who it was until they revealed it to us.
Bad Points
I don't like in this how the FBI agents treat Maddie. They are just assuming that Maddie is the killer with no other hard evidence other than she predicted when the boy would go missing.
Plot Summary
The book started off with the death date of a woman's son, which the death took place the week later. After Maddie tells the woman this she gets into a little trouble. The FBI shows up at Maddie's school and automatically thinks Maddie had something to do with the disappearance of the woman's son. Knowing that he is already dead, and other disappearances have started to happen, the FBI asks Maddie to help them with finding the murderer.
Ending
Yes, I really liked the ending but somehow feel that it could still be better.

Setting
Home, police station, school
Characters
Maddie- main character, can see people's death dates
Stubbs- maddie's best friend
Good Points
I enjoyed the point where people began truly believing her about what she saw, and started requesting her help with it at the police station.
Bad Points
I didn't like that her mom made her work for money, and that they just let patrons into their home.
Plot Summary
This book was filled with lots of mystery, including some speculation that both she and her best friend did it. I enjoyed that although she felt that seeing the numbers was a curse, it because so much more.
Ending
The ending fit incredibly well, and I liked that with all the death and darkness she still got a happy ending.
